Wolf hybrids in the family

So, I have seen some hateful posts on craigslist lately. It really bothers me that people fear wolf hybrids. They are beautiful and majestic. They are not ordinary dogs but nor should they be feared. They can be good pets if raised and trained properly.

We still have two hybrids, whom we love, and wouldn't trade for any other dog. Sometimes they make me feel spoiled. My white fang is very mellow where his sister is a little hyper. They love my children. They let the kids climb on them, pull their ears and tail. The kids cry and they go to check to make sure the kids are okay and no one hurt them.
Our cat plays with them. Well... Actually more like they are the cat's punching bag. They'll lay there and let the cat attack them or let her play with their tail. Cat will even follow them outside. She'll fly off couches just to catch the two hybrids from behind.

I believe its all in how you train and raise the animal. What the breed of dog the hybrid is mixed with. Just like any other animal... they can get a bad rep because of how their owners raise, train, and treat them.

Entry #1 on wolf hybrid

The story of our new family memeber begins here... My husband and I decided to buy a dog. We had always wanted a wolf hybrid. He did his research before I had met him on wolf hybrids. Convinced me that a female wolf hybrid would be a good protector of the children. I have always loved wolfs but knew they were dangerous. Wasn't too sure bout having a half breed. However my heart changed when I met Waya. By the time we got Waya we had already had our second child. Both of our children are under the age of 2yrs old right now.
Waya has been a wonderful dog and has not yet shown any signs of wanting to hurt us. He has been great to the kids. He acts lik a normal dog. However that is. He does do a lot of digging. But he loves being around the family and other animals. I figured he would of attacked the cat by now if he was to turn on us... Which when we leave home he is locked up with another dog and the cat. I has never hurt any of my kids. In fact he knows they will drop food or feed him. Just lik my other dog does. I never met such a sweeter dog than the two i have now.
Waya is so attached to my son and husband. when my son cries waya cries. He looks lik a wolf other than his fur color. his fur color gives him the illusion of looking like a husky or a mix with a white german shepard. Which in fact he is a malamute, artic wolf, red wolf, and timber wolf mix. No trace of german shepard in his blood line. He is a desendent of white fang (from the disney movie).
Personally I think it is how you train your hybrid. just like any other breed of dog. Pit bulls are misunderstood. which in fact they were once used as nanny dogs for children. bt bc of all the bad things people taught them. they now have a bad reputation. An I think the wolf hybrid is in the same position. Also, on a personal note. I have had two pit bulls I had as a kid. An both were great dogs. I rescued one of them of the side of the road on my way to school. which someone threw her out of the car. She was tramatized since then. but with love she became a great family dog. Which where I lived at the time was known for pit bulls being raised for fighting. But both the pit bulls never attacked a child in their life times. May Roxy and Kiara both rest in peace.
